   September 11, 2001 was the beginning of the acceleration of this opportunity for global healing - the Great Purge - the lancing of an infected collective wound. The pus (our collective shadow) is running out in all directions. It's running out of our institutions such as, the Catholic church as well as our Corporate culture… and the opportunity is the same for each of us… to get to the bottom of our core woundedness and clear the remnants of our inherited familial and cultural shadow - the fear - the rage - the grief. Underneath the veneer of violence and terror is an enormous psychic well of accumulated sorrow that has never been fully acknowledged let alone grieved by us, together, as a collective family. It is this inherited - well of sorrow - this collective broken heartedness - that is fueling the rage - the violence - the terrorism in our world. 

 

The recent tsunami in South East Asia is another break to the collective broken heart and shows us how deeply we want to come together in unity to help heal the heart of the world.
